Hormone Care That Looks Beyond One Lab Number.
Individualized care for perimenopause, menopause, cycle changes, low testosterone, low libido, poor sleep, fatigue, hot flashes, mood changes, and changing body composition.
Hormone treatment is tailored to your symptoms, life stage, medical history, labs, goals, and response over time.
You may feel different long before a standard lab result looks dramatic.
Hormonal changes can affect sleep, mood, energy, libido, strength, cognition, body composition, menstrual patterns, and quality of life — sometimes long before the symptoms feel “textbook.”
Hormone care may be appropriate if you are dealing with:
- Perimenopause or menopause symptoms
- Changing menstrual cycles or worsening PMS
- Hot flashes or night sweats
- Low libido or sexual-health changes
- Sleep disruption or early-morning waking
- Fatigue, brain fog, or mood changes
- Loss of strength or changing body composition
- Symptoms of low testosterone in men
Different life stages. Different goals. Personalized treatment.
Hormone optimization is not about chasing a single “perfect” number. Treatment should reflect symptoms, safety, clinical context, and individual goals.
Women’s Hormone Care
Care may include evaluation and treatment of perimenopause, menopause, cycle changes, sleep disruption, libido concerns, mood changes, body-composition changes, and other hormone-related symptoms.
- Estrogen support when appropriate
- Progesterone support when appropriate
- Testosterone evaluation and treatment when indicated
- Thyroid and metabolic factors considered in context
Men’s Hormone Care
Care may include evaluation of testosterone, energy, libido, recovery, strength, body composition, metabolic health, sleep, and other symptoms associated with hormonal changes.
- Testosterone evaluation and optimization when appropriate
- Monitoring for safety and treatment response
- Metabolic and thyroid factors considered when relevant
- Ongoing medication and lab monitoring
Hormone care stays focused — but we do not ignore obvious overlap.
If thyroid function, metabolism, ferritin, nutrient status, or digestive symptoms appear to be affecting your progress, those factors can be considered without turning every hormone visit into an extensive functional medicine workup.
Also dealing with thyroid or digestive concerns?
Our Gut + Thyroid Health page explains how Sprouts Health approaches low ferritin, Hashimoto’s, thyroid symptoms, digestion, and nutrient concerns in more detail.
Explore Gut + Thyroid HealthTreatment begins with context — not a preset protocol.
We start with your symptoms, health history, medications, prior treatment, goals, and relevant laboratory patterns.
Symptom Review
We look at how your symptoms have changed over time and how they affect sleep, energy, mood, libido, strength, and quality of life.
Hormone + Thyroid Labs
Relevant laboratory patterns are reviewed alongside symptoms and clinical context rather than interpreted in isolation.
Safety + Treatment Context
Relevant health history, medications, risk factors, and supporting labs are considered before and during treatment.
Personalized Treatment
Your plan may include estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, or other appropriate hormone treatment with ongoing monitoring and adjustment.
A structured path from clarity to optimization.
Care begins with the Hormone & Gut Clarity Session and, when appropriate, continues through an initial 90-Day Optimization Phase.
Hormone & Gut Clarity Session
Review symptoms, health history, current medications, previous testing, hormone concerns, and goals.
Focused Evaluation
Identify the most important clinical priorities and determine which labs or next steps are most relevant.
90-Day Optimization
Start or adjust treatment, review response, monitor labs, and refine the plan over the first 90 days.
Ongoing Maintenance
Continue prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting treatment as symptoms, labs, and goals change over time.
Know what to expect before you start.
Hormone & Gut Clarity Session
Comprehensive initial visit to review your symptoms, history, medications, previous testing, and clinical priorities.
90-Day Optimization + Maintenance
Ongoing monitoring, treatment adjustments, follow-up care, and continued optimization when appropriate.
The goal is not more hormones. It is the right treatment.
Hormone optimization should be individualized, monitored, and adjusted over time. The goal is to improve symptoms and function while using the lowest amount of treatment needed to achieve the desired clinical outcome.
Your plan may include:
- Estrogen therapy when appropriate
- Progesterone therapy when appropriate
- Testosterone therapy when appropriate
- Cycle and menopause symptom management
- Sexual-health and libido support when appropriate
- Ongoing lab monitoring and medication adjustment
- Referral to deeper Gut + Thyroid evaluation when needed
Hormone Care at Sprouts Health
Do I need to be in menopause to receive hormone care?
No. Hormonal symptoms can occur before menopause, during perimenopause, after menopause, or for other reasons. Younger women with cycle, libido, energy, thyroid, nutrient, or related concerns may also be evaluated.
Do you prescribe bioidentical hormone therapy?
Hormone therapy may be considered when clinically appropriate based on symptoms, medical history, laboratory findings, individual risks, and treatment goals.
Do you treat men with low testosterone?
Yes. Men with symptoms such as low energy, reduced libido, poor recovery, changing body composition, or other concerns related to testosterone may be evaluated and treated when clinically appropriate.
What if my hormone labs are “normal”?
Laboratory results are interpreted in the context of symptoms, history, medications, life stage, and other clinical factors. A single laboratory value does not always explain how someone feels.
What if I also have thyroid or gut problems?
That is common. If those concerns appear to be affecting hormone symptoms or treatment response, they can be addressed separately or through our Gut + Thyroid Health pathway without losing focus on your hormone care.
How long do patients usually stay in care?
Hormone treatment generally requires ongoing monitoring, follow-up, and medication management. After the initial 90-Day Optimization Phase, patients who continue treatment may remain in ongoing maintenance care based on their individual needs.
Are labs and medications included in the monthly fee?
No. Laboratory testing, prescription or compounded medications, and supplements are separate unless specifically stated otherwise.
Do you take insurance?
Sprouts Health is a cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance or provide superbills. This allows care to remain focused on your clinical needs rather than insurance requirements.
